Deoksu High School achieved a come-from-behind victory at the end of the 9th inning.
Deoksu High School, led by coach Jeong Yun-jin, won the championship by beating Gangneung High School 5-4 in the final of the 2023 Shinsegae E-Mart Cup National High School Baseball Championship held at SSG Landers Field in Incheon on the 11th. Gangneung High School succeeded in a dramatic tie after two outs in the top of the 9th inning. When fourth hitter Cho Dae-hyeon reached base with a hit, Lee Yul-ye connected the chance with a walk.
